Choosing a Doctor

The practice operates an appointment system. Please telephone the dedicated appointment line. You may request to see the doctor of your choice, but this may mean waiting longer than usual for an appointment. If you wish to be seen sooner you can make an appointment with another healthcare professional.

Waiting Times

The doctor tries to give every patient as much time as he/she needs. However, this could mean that your appointment time may be delayed. You will be informed of major delays. If you no longer require your appointment, then let the surgery know as soon as possible, to enable us to offer this appointment to another patient.

Children

An adult should accompany all patients under 16 years of age.

Telephone Advice

At times patients may feel it is not necessary to make an appointment to see the GP, but may have some concerns regarding immediate health issues. In this instance you can make a request for the GP to telephone you. The receptionist will triage all calls for telephone advice, and take your details. At no time will the GP's discuss medical reports etc, this is only for medical advice.

Urgent Appointments

Urgent appointments are for patients suffering that day from a serious medical problem that cannot wait for an appointment. We appreciate that at times patients need to be seen the same day due to illness and a member of the Primary Care Team will see you.
